During its working visit to China, Thanh Do University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Social Work Department of the Yantai Municipal Committee, marking a new step in strengthening educational cooperation, community development and people-to-people exchanges between Vietnam and China.

The partnership aims to promote collaboration in education, workforce development and community engagement while fostering knowledge sharing in social work, sustainable development, career guidance, rural development, environmental protection and community-based initiatives.

Under the agreement, both parties will expand international student exchange programs, providing Thanh Do University students with opportunities to study in multicultural environments, strengthen global competencies and gain broader perspectives on contemporary social issues.

The two organizations will also explore international volunteer programs. Through these initiatives, volunteers introduced by the Social Work Department of the Yantai Municipal Committee will participate in cultural exchange, educational and community activities at Thanh Do University, enabling students to improve their language skills, intercultural communication and social responsibility.

In addition, the partnership will promote joint research, academic conferences and seminars on social work, international volunteering and other areas of mutual interest, encouraging collaboration among scholars, educators and professionals from both sides.

The Social Work Department of the Yantai Municipal Committee will also help connect Thanh Do University with universities, educational institutions and social organizations in Yantai, creating further opportunities for faculty exchanges and long-term international cooperation.

This agreement represents another milestone in Thanh Do University’s internationalization strategy, expanding opportunities for students to engage in global learning, cultural exchange and community service while strengthening the University's network of international partners in China.
